Arsenal continue their pre-season tour with a game against Manchester City in Gothenburg on Sunday afternoon.
The Gunners have had a good pre-season so far, with wins over VIkings FK, the MLS All-Stars, Chivas Guadalajara and a draw over RC Lens.
New signings Granit Xhaka and Rob Holding have made impressive starts in their Arsenal careers, while club regulars, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Francis Coquelin seem to be playing at mid-season form already.
Man City come into this game having only played two pre-season games but it will still be a huge test for Arsenal. The Pep Guardiola era has begun, and this game will be a good barometer for both teams to see where they are in terms of fitness and match sharpness.
Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Alexis Sanchez, Aaron Ramsey and Granit Xhaka will play some part in the game. Xhaka featured in America, while Ramsey and Sanchez will be experiencing first-team action for the first time since the Euros and Copa America, respectively.
With this all said, let’s have a look at the team Arsene Wenger could field against City.
