Kelechi Nwakali has long since been linked with a move to Arsenal, with many reporting that the deal was completed months ago. Now, according to allNigeriasoccer, (h/t the Express), Nwakali and his agent are currently in London to finalize the move.
Indeed, the player’s official Twitter account suggested as such.
Twitter: Have arrived in London safe and sound #COYG (@Kelechi_nwakali)
Nwakali was unable to finalize the move earlier, as he was a part Nigeria’s under-20 squad recently. Nwakali will sign a five-year deal, while Arsenal will pay the ASJ Diamond Academy a fee of £2.5 million.

It is not known whether Arsenal will loan Nwakali out or keep him in the youth teams to develop, as his coach at the ASJ clarified.
Arsenal will determine if he will go on loan or play for the under-18s, under-21s, or first-team. We cannot determine that. The contract is for five years and they are in London to sign the contract
The 18-year-old is a top talent, but Arsenal fans will be hoping Arsene Wenger makes some more established signings.
