Arsenal will make one final offer for French striker Alexander Lacazette to tempt Lyon into selling the forward, just days since the Ligue 1 club embarrassed the Gunners by making their offer public.
Lyon was angered by Arsenal when the Gunners placed a £29.3 million offer for the 25-year-old forward, and the French club decided to make their rejection public, given their bid was £3 million less than West Ham’s offer.

Arsene Wenger spoke openly of his desire to sign another ‘experienced’ striker, due to the lack of options up front. The Telegraph reported on Saturday that the Premier League club will make a £35 million final offer to Lyon in hope they will allow the French International to leave.
Arsenal are currently missing two first-team strikers, with Danny Welbeck injured and Olivier Giroud set to miss the opening game of the season due to a lack of fitness, after he helped France to the final of the European championships this summer, however,Theo Walcott is an option for Arsene Wenger, but the 26-year-old struggled as lead striker last season.
