After speculation linking the under-21 star to Arsenal earlier this summer, it appears Arsenal have had a bid accepted by Bolton, according to multiple reports.
Arsenal had originally bid £1.2 million for the defender, which was rejected by Bolton, following that initial bid, Arsenal made an improved offer which was also rejected. In the last few days, however, Bolton have accepted a bid of £2 million from Arsenal and the player will now agree personal terms – as he completed his medical on Monday.

Holding had superb season for Bolton Wanderers last year, and was voted their ‘Player of the Year’, while also making it into Gareth Southgate’s Toulon Tournament winning team.
At 20-years-old, Holding will definitely be earmarked for the future but may also become a much-needed player immediately. Gabriel has been inconsistent, Per Mertesacker is severely dropping in ability, while his fellow under-21 teammate, Calum Chambers seems to be the forgotten man.
Having beaten off Bournemouth to his signature, it seems Holding is highly rated by the club.
