Arsenal’s desperate hunt for a striker continues, the next name on the list, is now Inter Milan striker, Mauro Icardi.
Gazzetta Dello Sport report that the 23-year-old striker will meet will with Arsenal representatives in the coming week.
Arsenal have also been recently linked with a move for Napoli striker, Gonzalo Higuain. Higuain is arguably one of the best strikers in the world but would come at a large fee, with some suggesting his release clause is as much as £78 million.

Furthermore, reports had suggested that Arsenal would offer Olivier Giroud as part of any offer, in order to entice the Neapolitan club. Although less than Higuain, Icardi will still cost Arsenal upwards of £35 million.

Although Icardi has three years left on his current deal, demands over a new contract have increased speculation that he could move away from Internazionale. Icardi scored 16 goals in Serie A last season, while scoring 22 before that and has thus attracted interest from multiple clubs, such as Napoli and Athletico Madrid.
With the Premier League season fast approaching, Arsenal are in desperate need of a striker, especially due to the injury of Danny Welbeck and the unavailability of Olivier Giroud.
