Having given Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry, an ultimatum – leave Sky Sports or leave Arsenal – Henry has left his coaching role at the club, as per a report from the BBC.
According to multiple reports, Henry had offered to work for the club for free, but is now poised to go elsewhere. Henry has been working with Arsenal’s kids and was offered a role as a coach for the under-18 side along with Kwame Ampadu.

Arsene Wenger had made it clear to the club legend, that he could not be a full-time coach with the club while also working for Sky Sports.
Last season, the two had clashed over Henry’s comments about the dissatisfaction among the fans. Since then it has led many to believe that Wenger does not want any former player at the club who could challenge his authority.

Henry will now join a list of ex-players who have left the club to coach elsewhere, such as Viera, Bergkamp, Overmars and most recently Mikel Arteta.
This news is sure to cause a stir among Arsenal fans, especially if Henry leaves to coach for another club.
