After a disappointing camapiagn with his national team, the 34-year-old ‘keeper will now put all his efforts into competing with Arsenal, as he told Arsenal.com.
This is a purely football-based decision. If I want to prolong my career and play at the highest level for as long as I can, then I will probably need to find the balance so that I can continue to do so.
The Czech Repuublic did not have a good tournament as they failed to qualify for the knockouut stages, having only gained one point from three games.

Petr Cech made his debut in 2002, and has since been a constant presence in the Czech team. He has amasssed 124 national appearances for the national side, and is arguably one of the best products to come out of the country.
