Arsenal have been reportedly interested in many strikers over the last few months. Lyon forward, Alexandre Lacazette, is next on the list to be linked with a move to the club, following Michy Batshuayi’s move to Chelsea and Jamie Vardy rejecting a move to the club.
West Ham have had multiple bids rejected for the French international, but the Daily Telegraph now reports that Arsenal have indicated that they will pay Lacazette’s £34.2 million release clause.

Lyon do still remain hopeful of keeping one of their star assets, who emerged from their famed youth academy. Lacazette, however did express his interest in playing in the Premier League in an interview earlier this year.
Arsenal have not yet made an official bid for the French striker but is believed that Arsene Wenger has met with Lacazette’s representatives while working for French TV. Although, the Lyon striker has a release clause, the Telegraph also reports that Lyon will try to push for a fee above the quoted £32.5 million.

Arsenal will face competition for the Frenchman, as Paris St-Germain and Athletico Madrid both interested in the striker, thus they must act fast if they want to secure a top class signing.
