Laurent Koscielny is one of Arsene Wenger’s best and most prized players at Arsenal. He has had a solid Euro campaign with France and as reported by the Evening Standard, he is once again attracting interest from foreign clubs, namely Bayern Munich

Six years ago, Arsenal signed unknown defender Laurent Koscielny, for a fee around five million pounds from Lorient. Wenger, was criticized for signing yet another unknown player, but six years later, Koscielny proved all the critics wrong and has become one of the top defenders in the world.
His reputation as one of the better defenders in Europe, attracted Bayern Munich in 2014 amid his contract talks, which resulted with Koscielny signing an apparent five-year-deal with the club. Many other media outlets, however report that the French defender’s contract will expire next summer, but according to the Evening Standard, Koscielny has a contract until 2019, with an indication that he could even stay longer than that.

Bayern Munich’s recent signing of Mats Hummels makes it hard to believe that the German side is after another defender, but according to recent rumours, Bayern defender Mehdi Benatia is likely to move to another club due to his lack of game time.
With Boateng and Hummels at the heart of Bayern’s defence, it would seem unlikely that Koscielny would move.
