Dan Crowley joined Arsenal from Aston Villa in 2013. At 16-years-old, Crowley was highly rated at Aston Villa and has gone to become a regular member for Arsenal’s under-21 squad, while also being earmarked as future England and Arsenal first-team player.
Although it was thought by some that Crowley would stay at Arsenal and be given a chance in the first-team, Arsenal.com has confirmed that the young attacker will join Oxford United on loan for the 2016/17 season.

Crowley spent three months on loan at Barnsley last year, making 13 appearances for the club, before returning to Arsenal’s under-21 side. He was a big part in an Arsenal under-21 team which gained promotion last year, while also featuring for the ‘UEFA Youth League’ team.
A full season on loan for the midfielder could be vital in his progression. He has been involved in Arsenal’s academy for the last three seasons, thus constant first-team experience is the next step in his development.
