Five strikers Arsenal should go for after Vardy disappointment

Arsenal were handed the disappointing news on Thursday morning that Jamie Vardy had rejected the chance to join the Gunners, by instead signing a new bumper four-year-deal with the champions to end any hopes that the Gunners had of signing the England forward.

It was reported that Arsenal had a four-year-deal in place with Vardy, and it was just a matter of the player choosing between the two clubs.

The news comes as a bit of kick in the teeth for the Gunners, but they must not stop in their search for that quality striker that they have been needing for many years now.

With the European Championships still in full flow, transfer activity might be fairly quiet for most clubs in the next few weeks. But there are still a lot of top quality forwards out there.

Here are five strikers that Arsenal should go all out for in time for the new season come August.
