Since the domestic League season finished, many football fans have eagerly awaited the start of the 2016 European Championships.
Euro 2016 will be the largest installment of the tournament so far, with 24 teams competing this summer. Among the 24 teams, Arsenal will have 10 players representing their respective countries at the tournament, including Tomas Rosicky, although he’s leaving the club.
Among the ten names, Jack Wilshere and new signing, Granit Xhaka, will be the two most eagerly watched by Arsenal fans, albeit for differing reasons.
Arsenal fans will be waiting to see what Granit Xhaka will bring to the team next season, if they haven’t already. While many will hope that he plays well, they will also be praying that he doesn’t pick up an injury, similarly to Jack Wilshere.
In what has been debated by many fans across England, Jack Wilshere was picked to play for England this summer, having only featured in Arsenal’s last three games of the season.
With this considered, let’s preview the Arsenal players who’ll feature in this summer’s Euros.
