Arsenal have rejected approaches made by Watford for youngster Calum Chambers.
The Evening Standard reports that the player has no desire at the moment to move to a different club next season – on loan or permanently – and is only focused on enjoying his summer off before the new season.
The 21-year-old was voted in the Toulon Tournament best XI as he led England to glory and has also been widely tipped for a bright future. Sadly, last season the Englishman was restricted to only 50 minutes of Premier League football last season and so he will be looking for a greater amount of playing time next season.

Chambers signed for the Gunners back in 2014 after an impressive season with Southampton. Since then he has managed 58 appearances for Arsenal, scoring twice in that time. Capable of playing at both right-back and centre-back, Chambers fits the Arsene Wenger mould, especially given his confidence on the ball and calmness under pressure.
With both Laurent Koscielny and Per Mertesacker starting to reach the end of their Arsenal careers and Gabriel not putting in particularly convincing performances, Chambers may well find himself back in favour at Arsenal next season. There is no doubt that the youngster has potential and next season must be the time where he proves he can cut it at the highest level.
