Manchester City’s incoming boss Pep Guardiola is plotting moves for Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere and Alexis Sanchez, according to The Mirror.
The former Barcelona manager has always been an admirer of Jack Wilshere, who barely featured this season after suffering from long-term injuries, and many rumours claimed that City were preparing a bid for the 24-year-old this time last year.

The Citizens believe that a £40m bid, a chance to boost wages, and the opportunity to play under Guardiola, will be enough to lure Wilshere in.
Wilshere has two remaining years on his contract and The Mirror believes that talks about a new £110,000-a-week deal at Arsenal have stalled.

Meanwhile, Sanchez’s future as a Gunner is in serious doubt, since the Chilean is hesitating to accept a new £160,000-a-week deal, and The Mirror claim that reports coming from Spain are stating that the Chilean would embrace a move to the Etihad Stadium.
Guardiola previously signed the Chilean for Barcelona for £26m back in 2011. Sanchez moved to Arsenal three years later for a fee of £35m.
