Arsene Wenger has denied the reports claiming he has been offered a contract extension, according to the Evening Standard, and insists he hasn’t decided whether he’ll extend his stay at Arsenal beyond next year.
The gaffer has secured Champions League football for the 19th year in a row and the Arsenal board remain behind the Frenchman.
But there’s a growing unrest amongst fans who are calling for Wenger to step down after 12 years without winning any Premier League titles.

The 66-year-old has put to rest the false rumors of his future being discussed and says that only Arsenal’s performances next year will decide his fate.
That’s completely wrong, I don’t know where this information comes from. You can treat that as just an invention and no more. It’s absolutely false. I would like the press to check this information with myself or the club before they give it out. We both would have denied it.
No [I haven’t decided whether I will stay yet]. What I focus on is respecting my contract and then envisage what I will do afterwards.
I can understand people are interested in that, but that is not the most important thing. I extended my contract in a period that was vital for the club and after that I will see where I am personally and where the club stands at the end of my contract.
The manager faces enormous pressure as Arsenal suffer yet another trophyless season and with Tottenham set to finish above the Gunners for the first time in 21 years.
