On-loan French international right-back, Mathieu Debuchy, has been ruled out of the European Championships after suffering a thigh injury, reports ESPN FC.
Debuchy, currently on loan at Bordeaux, is not expected to make the French team for the Euro’s, which will be announced on Thursday evening by manager, Didier Deschamps.
Bordeaux manager, Ulrich Rame, has today revealed that Debuchy has suffered a recurrence of a thigh injury that had already kept him out of action in the latter stages of the season.

The right-back had gone out on loan to play more regular football as he was playing second best to Hector Bellerin in the Arsenal team. He was also hoping to enhance his chances of playing for France as they host the European Championship this summer but injuries have not allowed that ambition to flourish. The right-back has only managed nine appearances for Bordeaux in the League in his bid to regain his international place.

It is expected that Bacary Sagna will be the favoured right-back for France this Summer with Lyon’s Christiophe Jallet as a back-up.
