Arsene Wenger has long been a master of finding a hidden gem in the transfer market. When he first arrived in England, Wenger was responsible for finding some of the best young talents in Europe – especially France.
The Express (via ESPN), has reported that Arsene Wenger is currently tracking, 20-year-old Lille striker, Sehrou Guirassy. The young striker joined Lille last summer after breaking through at Stade Laval. This season the young striker, did play for Lille at the beginning of the year, but was sent out on loan to Auxerre in Ligue 2 in January.

Such has been Wenger’s interest in the young striker, that chief scout, Steve Rowley has been sent to watch his performances in recent weeks. Guirassy has scored eight goals in 16 appearances for Auxerre while on loan.
Moreover, the striker has represented the France’s under-20 team internationally. If the reports are true, it seems Arsene Wenger could be utilizing his French connections once again.
