Arsenal and Manchester City linked Mario Lemina has joined Italian giants Juventus from Olympique Marseille, the club has confirmed.
The Gunners were heavily linked with a move for the 22-year-old, who has spent the season on loan at the defending Serie A champions – with them impressed by Lemina’s performances this season.

The Gabonese international has made just 11 appearances for Juventus, scoring twice in that time and joined the club for a fee believed to be in the region of £9m.
Lemina began his career at FC Lorient before moving on to Marseille, and made 50 appearances for the French side before joining Juve on a loan deal.
The 22-year-old joining Juventus means that Arsenal will be forced into looking elsewhere to sign a midfielder – with Granit Xhaka the reported no.1 target for the north London side this summer.

The Swiss international has been heavily linked with a move to the Gunners, with Arsene Wenger believed to have made an offer of roughly £24m for his services, although Borussia Monchengladbach are waiting on a bid upwards of £33m to part ways with their captain.
