Theo Walcott is low on confidence, low on support and has had arguably his worst senior season with the club.
The 27-year-old was once touted to be a replacement for Thierry Henry – although tags like that are unfair, it showed the confidence in the player who was taken to the 2006 World Cup at just 17-years-old.
However, since then, injury issues and inconsistency have led to him being touted as one of Arsene Wenger’s failed products, he has had a decent career but didn’t quite reach the high heights that were so expected of him.
The England international has had struggles trying to find a position, does he play on the right or through the middle? If he does leave, Arsenal do not need to look anywhere but in the club’s academy to try and replace him.
Here are five players within the youth set-up who could replace him.
