The summer transfer window is quickly approaching and it is usually a fun but nerve-wracking time for fans as they anxiously await to see who is coming in, and who is going out. This is especially true for Arsenal fans. After a disappointing season, and with many players contracts expiring, fans are hoping for the club to bring in new talent. With the likes of Flamini, Arteta and possibly Walcott on their way out of the club, Arsene Wenger will not only need to bring in replacements for depth of the squad, but also quality players to improve the team.
This year due to injuries the team have often been lacking in the quality of depth that a team needs to make a proper title challenge. Additionally, the ability of the substitutes has just not cut it this year. All too often the changes that Wenger makes have little to no impact on the match- Walcott is a perfect example of this. With a strengthened squad the excuse of injuries no longer becomes an issue. If fans have learned one thing this year, it’s that this summer, Wenger or whoever the manager is, needs to clean the deadwood out of the club and replace them with quality players.
Lets take a look at who could be going and who could be coming.
