Arsenal’s current batch of loanees will soon be evaluated in order to determine their future at the club.
Arsenal’s season is ending in an incredibly disappointing fashion, leading to many believing a summer clear out will be on the cards. If this is true, there could be multiple positions available for some of these players to occupy.
Of the eleven players on loan, Jon Toral has arguably been the pick of the bunch. The young Spaniard has been outstanding for Birmingham this year, and was awarded with both, ‘The Player of the Season’ and ‘Goal of the Season’ awards.
At the other end of the spectrum, Glen Kamara has struggled at Southend, and looks set for another loan spell next year, if not a summer transfer. Mathieu Debuchy’s career is also in doubt as he seems unhappy with his back up spot behind Hector Bellerin.
With all this said, let’s have a look at how the loan players did between 19th-23rd April.
