Mats Hummels is set to finally make a move from Borussia Dortmund and the club that has landed his signature, is none other than the German side’s Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich.
Hummels has been chased for many years by elite clubs in Europe but the player himself commited to Borussia Dortmund. In recent months, that stance has appeared to soften. Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United have all been chasing the commanding centre back, with Manchester United having a bid rejected last summer for the player.

With his former boss at Dortmund, Jurgen Klopp, now managing Liverpool, it was strongly suspected Hummels would choose the Premier League as his next destination but the German international, according to Bild, seems to have chosen to remain in the Bundesliga and make the move to Munich.
A reported £23m fee has been agreed between the two clubs and this will come as a bitter blow to Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United if Hummels does in fact sign for the reigning German champions. All three English clubs are in desperate need of such a player and would need to move fast if they hold out any hope of signing the player.
