Five Things We Learned: Arsenal 2-0 West Bromwich Albion

Arsenal faced West Bromwich Albion at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Thursday evening and came away 2-0 victors, after a comfortable performance.

A first-half turn and strike from Alexis Sanchez put the home side 1-0 up in front of what was probably the worst attendance at the Emirates since the Gunners moved there from the much smaller Highbury.

Arsenal had countless opportunities but with no real support behind them, it took the efforts of the players themselves to make any real impact on the game, with Alexis’ performance the stand-out.

He was awarded later in the first-half for his impressive efforts after Aaron Ramsey was brought down, the Chilean stepped up and converted a free-kick which should have been prevented if not for the Baggies wall splitting.

An easy victory in which Petr Cech was never really threatened, what five things did we learn from the game?
