Arsenal supporter and acting legend Idris Elba has tried his hand at predicting the north London side’s game against Crystal Palace this weekend.
The Gunners have endured a difficult campaign, pent up with inconsistency and have ultimately cost themselves a place in the Premier League title race. Falling 13 points behind Leicester City with just six games to go. Meanwhile, the south London side visiting the Emirates Stadium could be subject to some rotation, with an FA Cup semi-final to consider fast approaching.
Speaking in Mark Lawrenson’s weekly prediction column for BBC Sport, the 43-year-old, best known for his roles as Stringer Bell in The Wire and DCI John Luther in Luther, discussed not only what he believes will happen when Palace visit north London this weekend but also had his say on Arsene Wenger’s future.

Should Wenger stay or go? That is such a tough question. I think, considering his record, he stays. We see a different Arsenal if he goes. Yes, we might see an Arsenal that wins the Premier League but we do see a different team and I would be sad to see the back of him if I am honest. As for Palace, we will do them 4-0.

Arsenal have lost a disappointing seven games this campaign, including two in a row in the new year to Manchester United and Swansea City.
