Arsenal are leading Premier League rivals Liverpool in the race to sign Fulham left back and wonderkid Ryan Sessegnon.

The 15-year-old has been likened to Gareth Bale for his attacking ability and has proven himself to be quite the talent in the Whites’ youth set-up.

Arsenal attempted to bring the defender to north London during the January transfer window and looked to sign him on Deadline Day, offering Serge Gnabry on loan as part of the exchange, although any potential deal collapsed.

According to the Mirror Online, Arsene Wenger is looking to bring Sessegnon to the club this summer but will have to fight off interest from Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool to persuade him to make the move.

Fulham will attempt to fend off any interest from the two Premier League giants but it’s believed that Arsenal are willing to offer as much as £3m for the defender in order to secure his services.
