Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has provided an update to team news ahead of the north London side’s fixture against West Ham United on Saturday afternoon.
The Gunners took on Watford in the league last weekend and crushed them with an impressive 4-0 victory thanks to goals from Alexis Sanchez, Alex Iwobi, Hector Bellerin and substitute Theo Walcott’s late strike.

The partnership of Mohamed Elneny and Francis Coquelin is something that has blossomed in recent weeks but Wenger, speaking to the press ahead of the game and as reported by the Mirror Online, revealed that both Aaron Ramsey and Mathieu Flamini are in line for a return this weekend.
This creates competition for places in the side, although it’s highly unlikely that either will start against the Hammers as they bid to get back to full fitness.

The Frenchman also revealed good news on Tomas Rosicky and Jack Wilshere – both of whom recently returned to training. The pair will feature for the Arsenal under-21s in their game against Newcastle United under-21s on Friday night at the Emirates Stadium.

Wenger also confirmed that both Santi Cazorla and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are unavailable and working their way back to full fitness.
