Arsenal are interested in bringing Borussia Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan to the club, according to the Guardian.
The Armenian attacking midfielder has been hugely impressive for the Bundesliga side this campaign after failing to make his mark in recent seasons, contributing a stunning 38 times in front of goal this season – 20 goals and 18 assists.

Arsene Wenger is believed to be a keen admirer of the 27-year-old’s talents, who has just one season left on his current deal. Thomas Tuchel, however, is not interested in allowing the player to leave Germany and identifies Mkhitaryan as a key member of his squad.
Italian giants and last season’s UEFA Champions League finalists Juventus are also believed to be interested in the Armenian international, who came close to signing for Liverpool prior to joining Dortmund.

It’s unlikely that Mkhitaryan would be allowed to leave the club unless he refused to sign a contract extension, meaning that Tuchel would receive just one more years service from him before losing the star on a free contract.
