Arsenal have begun looking ahead to the summer and are keeping tabs on Lorient star Raphael Guerreiro, according to the Mirror, as Arsene Wenger looks to address the issues within his squad.
The north London side have a good relationship with French side Lorient after securing the signing of Laurent Koscielny from them back in 2010, putting them in a potentially good position to buy the Portuguese international.
The Gunners looked set to seriously challenge for the Premier League title this season but the usual defensive problems hampered their campaign. However, the addition of Guerreiro to the squad in the summer would certainly be good for the defence.

The Portuguese youngster is versatile; capable of playing at both left-back and left-wing which would add the much-needed depth to the Arsenal team.
With England international and youth system product Kieran Gibbs possibly looking for a move away from the Emirates, Arsene Wenger may well choose to replace him with Guerreiro, whom the experienced manager could nurture into a star.
