Arsenal have had a tumultuous season so far, as they were starting out well but later faltered and could now be out of the title race, with both Leicester City and rivals Tottenham Hotspur edging closer to a two-horse race. Now that the season is drawing to a close, supporters have been able to see who has and has not been contributing in a positive way for the Gunners this season.
Now that Arsenal has crashed out of every cup competition they had been in, there is a larger sample size because the club has fewer games to play. A lot has happened within the squad this year, such as the emergence of some young stars and the regression of some veterans who used to play crucial roles in the first XI on a regular basis.
Considering we’re in the international break, here are the Arsenal squad* player ratings for the season so far as it seems another third or fourth place trophy seems, unfortunately, inevitable.
