Thanks to the much needed win against Everton, Arsenal go into the international break with some much needed confidence.
After being knocked out of both the FA Cup and the Champions League, the steady performance at the weekend was needed to steady the ship. and almost more importantly than the result, was how the team played.
The new found attacking four were quick, direct and efficient. The defence was tidy and handled the Everton threats well.
The first half was thrilling and typical Arsenal football and the second was professional, which, as seen in the Liverpool match, is not as easy as it seems.
The team should and will build on that positive performance going forward. While many feel Arsenal’s title chances are gone, they are still in it mathematically.
Whether they mount a serious title challenge or not, it will be key for the team as well as the manager that Arsenal put in good performances and finish out the season well.
Let’s take a look at the teams remaining games and how they could turn out.
