Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin believes that his side must focus on the positives from the 3-1 loss to Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League. The north London side were knocked out of Europe’s biggest cup competition by the holders, as well as losing to Watford in the FA Cup last weekend and trail league leaders Leicester City and second place Tottenham Hotspur.
If the north London side harbour hopes of winning the Premier League this campaign, they’ll have to overcome an 11 point deficit with nine games to go.
After being taught a lesson by the impressive front trio of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar, instead of focusing on the loss, former Barcelona full-back Bellerin, as reported by the London Evening Standard, claimed that the north London side must focus on the fact that they battled hard.

All the players and all the staff will give everything on the pitch but sometimes things don’t go your way.
You need to focus on where you want to get. That is football. Sometimes you are high, sometimes you are low. It is about being high as much as we can and hopefully things will get better.
I don’t think many teams can face Barcelona in the way that we did, even though the result was a bit too wide given what had gone on on the pitch. I think we did really well and we had our chances and while we could not materialise them, we showed we were up there.
We can take a lot of positives as well and finish the season on a high. There are other things you can take from the games and now it is about focusing on the league and finishing the season on a high.

Arsenal face a tricky trip to the north West on Saturday afternoon when they take on Everton in the Premier League at Goodison Park.
