Arsenal supporters have voted that they want to see Mesut Ozil start for the north London side in their FA Cup quarter final against Watford on Saturday afternoon.
The Gunners take to the Emirates Stadium pitch this weekend as they bid to make it their third FA Cup semi final in as many years, with the hope of going all the way again, making it an unprecedented treble of trophies in England’s biggest cup competition.
With the UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie against Barcelona to consider midweek, Read Arsenal ran a poll on Twitter to ask supporters if they’d like to see the German playmaker start or rested against the Hornets, and over 300 people had their say.
Ozil was rested midweek and has a good chance of featuring at the weekend, although if Arsene Wenger has an eye on the Champions League, he may feel like he has enough to cope without the former Real Madrid star.
