Player Ratings: Manchester United 3-2 Arsenal

After defeating Leicester City in the previous Premier League match, it was crucial for Arsenal to grab another win against Manchester United, in order to keep their title chances well and truly alive. However, this wouldn’t be easy for the Gunners as they have failed to win at Old Trafford for 10 years.

Arsenal started off the game very strong with a good chance that Nacho Monreal squandered. The complexion of the game. however, would change when youngster Marcus Rashford gave United the lead with a good goal in the 29th minute. The teenager then doubled the lead. Danny Welbeck pulled a goal back late in the first half against his old side to leave the score 2-1 at half-time.

The second half wasn’t the best for Arsenal as a deflected Ander Herrera shot would whistle its way into the net, making the score 3-1. However, the goals didn’t stop there, as a Mesut Ozil mishit found the top corner giving Arsenal a way back into the game. The visitors were, however, unable to equalise, meaning the game finished 3-2

A serious blow to Arsenal’s title chances. Here are how the players rated against Manchester United:
