Watford manager Quique Sanchez Flores has welcomed the rumours linking in-form goal scorer Odion Ighalo with a move to Premier League rivals Arsenal.
The striker has scored 15 goals already this season for the newly promoted side, playing a key role in Watford’s highly impressive first season back in the top-flight and currently sitting in 9th place when all predicted them for a relegation battle.
The Spanish manager explained, as reported by FourFourTwo, that the apparent rumours linking Ighalo with a move away, to sides including Manchester United and Arsenal, is a sign of how good Watford have been this season.

He is one of the best strikers in the division so [speculation] is very normal.
It’s good.
I love speculation for all the players in the squad. It means the performance of the team is good, every teams want players of Watford so we are doing something well and it’s good news for our team.

The Nigerian-born striker was rumoured to have turned down a big-money move to the Chinese Super League at the start of the season, a contract offer worth around £200,000 a week.
