Goalkeeper: David Ospina
The Colombian will most likely start, having done so in the fourth round.
Petr Cech is indisputably Arsene’s first choice, but the boss will want his experienced 33-year-old to be rested and ready for the visit of Barcelona.
Right back: Hector Bellerin
With no Mathieu Debuchy, who was loaned out to Bordeaux for the remainder of the season, it seems obvious that Bellerin will be the starter on Saturday.
Calum Chambers may have started here in the last round, but with injuries in the team, he’ll likely be shifted to the heart of the defence.
Centre back: Calum Chambers
He scored a stunner against Burnley in the fourth round to give Arsenal the lead, and featured from the right in that game.
However, with Gabriel definitely missing out and it unlikely Laurent Koscielny will regain fitness in time, the 20-year-old will most likely start.
Centre back: Per Mertesacker
Why would Wenger risk Koscielny ahead of such a key game against Barcelona?
Mertesacker should, and probably will start.
Left back: Kieran Gibbs
Wenger hinted at squad rotation, and Gibbs optimises just that.
He’ll start, and will do a decent job, with Nacho Monreal likely to be given a break after his heroics against Riyad Mahrez and co. last week.
Centre midfield: Mathieu Flamini
It could be Francis Coquelin, or it could be Flamini.
Chances are, it’ll be the latter.
The Frenchman is by no means a great footballer but with Coquelin only just getting back into contention after injury, it’s hard to see him start in the game against Hull, with Barcelona just around the corner.
Centre midfield: Mohamed Elneny
We’ve only been able to see small glimpses of him, but the boss says he’s a ‘very good player’, so that must be a good sign.
It’s likely Wenger will give Aaron Ramsey a break. Elneny and Coquelin would be a good experiment if tried. If not, the Egyptian will likely be doing a lot of running to cover for Flamini.
Right wing: Joel Campbell
In fairness to the Ox, he’s been pretty good recently but has played a lot of games in a row.
It’s likely Arsene will be considering the England international for Tuesday’s game, and Joel Campbell offers a fantastic option on the right side of the front three.
Attacking midfield: Alex Iwobi
He played in behind the striker against Burnley and was really impressive, controlled and composed on the ball.
At only 19-years-old, he looks a talent to look out for and could become a regular member of the first-team next season.
Left wing: Theo Walcott
This one is a toss-up.
It’s either going to be Theo or Alexis Sanchez on the left, depending on the Chilean’s fitness.
He’ll want to play, but Wenger will want him nice and rested for the Barca game.
Walcott has been on the bench the last couple of games, so he’ll likely start, even if he is contention for Tuesday’s game.
Centre forward: Danny Welbeck
Will Welbeck start? It seems likely.
He played around 10 minutes against Leicester last weekend to great effect, which will have given both the player himself and Wenger a boost in confidence.
Giroud could start but Wenger again, may want to utilise the fantastic squad he now has at his disposal ahead of a tough upcoming schedule.
