# Ospina fed up of being back-up and considering leaving

Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina is ready to quit the club in the summer, [according to the](https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/arsenal-transfer-news-petr-cech-displays-will-see-david-ospina-quit-this-summer-a3183471.html?)*[London Evening Standard](https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/arsenal-transfer-news-petr-cech-displays-will-see-david-ospina-quit-this-summer-a3183471.html?).*

The Colombian shot-stopper has made just four appearances for the Gunners in all competitions, with his playing time severely limited by the far superior and experienced summer signing Petr Cech.

The Ex-Chelsea man has been in superb form this campaign and is currently the first name on the team sheet, leaving Ospina isolated on the substitutes bench.

With the 27-year-old supposedly in the prime of his career, he reportedly feels as though he should be playing more games than he currently is, meaning he would have to leave north London in search of first-team football.

The Gunners also have the likes of Wojciech Szczesny and Emiliano Martinez on the books, both out on loan, who will be returning in the summer, meaning Arsene Wenger will have a decision to make regarding the futures of a number of his squad players.
