# Oxlade-Chamberlain to demand mega contract

Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is set to demand a huge new long-term contract, which will see his weekly wage rise to over £100,000-per-week.

[According to the *Football Insider*](https://www.footballinsider247.com/revealed-oxlade-chamberlain-wants-pay-parity-with-attacking-team-mate/), the England international is fed up of not being on par with the likes of Jack Wilshere and Theo Walcott, both of whom are amongst the upper echelon of highest-paid players at the club.

Despite Oxlade-Chamberlain’s somewhat shaky form over the previous 18 months, he believes that his performances are good enough to see his wage almost double from his current £52,000-per-week wage.

The 22-year-old’s contract ends in the summer of 2018, leaving the Gunners in a good position regarding his future, but with a number of clubs including the likes of Chelsea and Manchester interested in acquiring his services before then, if the player does not agree a new deal with the north London club, he could be tempted by a move to a Premier League rival.
