Arsenal central defender Laurent Koscielny believes that he has constantly improved while playing for the club and is determined to get even better.
The 30-year-old moved to the Gunners from Lorient back in 2010 for a price of £10m, which at the time seemed vastly overpriced given the fact that very few people knew about him. However, since making the switch to the north London club, Koscielny has been an integral part of the Arsenal team; leading the defensive line in both of the Gunners’ recent FA Cup successes.
Now, though, the Daily Star report that the Frenchman believes that he is having his best season to date and is focused on maintaining his spot in Arsene Wenger’s side for years to come.

I think I’m experiencing my best season at Arsenal. But I hope that it’s not finished. I’ve reached a type of fullness at 30 years old. I feel I give more serenity on the pitch and I manage situations better.
I’ve moved up a level compared to my first five years at Arsenal. Every year, I’ve moved up a notch.
Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand recently heralded Koscielny as the best defender in the Barclays Premier League and upon hearing the news, the 30-year-old France international admitted that he was flattered by such praise, but remains adamant that he wants to continue to improve while he can.
It touches me. They know all the work put in to get here, the difficulty of this position and of the league. But I don’t want to stop there. I want to be even better.
