# Rosicky faces another injury spell

Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky is set to miss a month of football after sustaining a thigh injury.

The Czech midfielder was a 70th minute substitute in Saturday’s 2-1 win over Burnley, his first appearance this season after a lengthy lay-off. However, [according to reports in the *Mail Online*](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3425069/Arsenal-dealt-fresh-injury-blow-Tomas-Rosicky-ruled-month-thigh-injury-sustained-comeback-game.html), Rosicky picked up yet another injury, which leaves Arsenal fearful he could miss at least a month of football.

Tests will be run in the coming days to assess the damage to the Czech international’s thigh.

If the news is as bad as first thought, it’ll come as a huge blow to the Gunners, who hoped to have Rosicky in the squad to strengthen their title bid in the closing months of the Premier League season.

Arsenal have not yet confirmed the reports by the *Mail Online*, and will unlikely make any statement until the injury has been fully and properly assessed by the team’s doctors.
