Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed his intentions to consider another loan move away from the Emirates for promising German winger Serge Gnabry, as he is set to return from his unsuccessful loan spell at West Brom.
The 20-year-old made just one substitute appearance for the Baggies and Wenger has confirmed that his tenure at the Hawthorns is to be cut short as a result of Gnabry playing nowhere near as much as the French tactician would have hoped.
As reported by the club’s official website, Wenger also likened his plans with Gnabry’s loans to current star midfielder Francis Coquelin, in the sense that time will be taken for the exciting German to find his feet with regular first team football elsewhere.
Yes [he will return].
I am tempted to give him some competition because he has not played at West Brom. I am tempted to let him go somewhere to do with him what I did with Coquelin, somewhere for a month or two.

Gnabry has impressed when called upon for Arsenal in recent seasons but has never really pinned down a place in the starting line-up due to the wealth of attacking options that manager Wenger has had at his disposal, limiting the German’s opportunities.
Since making his Gunners debut in 2010, Gnabry has made just ten appearances for the club, mainly in cup competitions and from the bench, scoring just one goal.
