River Plate defender Emanuel Mammana is subject to a lot of European interest, including the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Fiorentina, according to the Express.
The 19-year-old centre-back has one international cap to his name and has represented his national side at both under-17 and under-20 level.
Many critics have identified the centre-back area (in particular, Per Mertesacker) as a possible weak link in a side that is vying to return to Premier League winners medals and success in the UEFA Champions League.

Aymeric Laporte has also been a name that has reportedly interested Wenger, but with a price of around £35 million pounds, Mammana, at a supposed cost of just £7.5 million may seem the cheaper and more viable option.

Both young players, it seems that Wenger is now looking to the future in order to develop a dynasty, which, aforementioned, is looking to compete at a higher level in both the Premier League and in Europe’s biggest cup competition, with the defence a crucial aspect to that.
