Gnabry urges Arsenal to end loan hell

Arsenal winger Serge Gnabry has urged the club to end his loan spell at West Bromwich Albion, according to reports in the Daily Star.

The German under-21 international has failed to captivate the eyes of Tony Pulis during his time on loan with the Midlands side, however, he is contracted to remain with the club until the end of the current campaign.

Gnabry has played just 12 minutes of the club’s season and has been demoted to play with the under-21 squad in order to gain some level of regular football.

It’s unlikely that the Gunners will allow Gnabry to leave from his loan spell earlier than planned unless Tony Pulis also agrees to send the player back to the club.

If Gnabry does return to Arsenal, he would likely enjoy a spell with the under-21s or be sent out on another loan, preferably to another Premier League side or one in the Championship if he is guaranteed regular first-team football.
