Former Egypt coach Bob Bradley has explained why Mohamed Elneny will be such a useful signing for the Gunners.
Arsenal completed the signing of the 23-year-old earlier this month from Basel and while it’s, at first, believed Elneny will provide back-up to the likes of Francis Coquelin, Santi Cazorla (currently both out injured) and Aaron Ramsey in midfield, Bradley claimed that the Egyptian can offer a lot to the team.
Speaking to NBC Sports, as reported by ESPN, Bradley, who coached Elneny in the early stages of his career, before later helping him move to Swiss giants FC Basel, claimed that Elneny can play in a number of different roles.

He is an all-round midfielder capable of playing different roles.
He reads the game, he moves well and he can play a little bit deeper.
He’s an all-round midfielder who can play deeper when needed, he can move forward and shoot from distance but he’s not just a guy who stays in there and breaks up plays.
Elneny could make his debut this weekend as Arsenal take on struggling champions Chelsea, who currently sit 14th place in the Premier League table, just four above the relegation zone.

Meanwhile, the Gunners will look to extend their lead at the top of the pile, as they bid to win their first league title since the 2003/04 campaign.
