Glen Kamara is to sign on loan with Southend United for the remainder of the season.
Kamara was originally signed from the Shrimpers in 2012 and made his Arsenal first-team debut in the Capital One Cup defeat to Sheffield Wednesday.
The 20-year-old has reached a stage in his development where competitive action is required having trained with the Arsenal first-team and been a mainstay for the under-21s.

Moving back to familiar surroundings and a team where he will know some players like Jack Payne, who would have played in the Southend youth side with Kamara, should help him settle and aim get game time in a side chasing promotion to the Championship.
Southend manager confirmed the move to the Southend Echo.
We have been chasing Glen for about six weeks now and I’m very pleased to have got the deal done.
