Hull City manager Steve Bruce is desperate to turn Isaac Hayden’s loan deal into a permanent deal, according to reports.
The on-loan Arsenal defender has made 16 appearances in all competitions so far this season and has impressed since breaking into the Hull first team in recent weeks, as they strive to gain promotion back to the Premier League.
Speaking to the Hull Daily Mail, Bruce admitted his desire to keep Hayden with the Tigers.

I’ve already been on to Arsenal because I’d love to make it permanent if I could.
I’d make it permanent tomorrow if that was possible. I desperately want to hang on to him. In an ideal world he’d want to be playing every week but he’s started last weekend and again.
He’s a very good young player, who’s progressing all the time.
He’s got his goal and he did very well. He’s energetic and full of beans and he’ll remember his first goal today. I wanted to freshen us up in midfield and he was one who took his chance well. It was very good to see.
Hayden, who made his senior debut for Arsenal in September 2013, has only made one senior appearance since for the Gunners and if he returned to north London at the end of the season, it would be unlikely he would be able to secure a first team spot, which means a permanent move to Humberside could be his best option.
