Arsenal have begun talks with Ukrainian giants Dynamo Kiev, with the hope of sealing a deal for 26-year-old Andriy Yarmolenko.
The tricky winger is valued at around £20m and it’s believed that Everton are the frontrunners in the race for his signature, although according to Portuguese news outlet A Bola, the Gunners will look to rival the Toffees for Yarmolenko.
Arsenal made their first signing this week after completing a deal for central midfielder Mohamed Elneny, with the Egyptian expected to play some role in this weekend’s game against Stoke City.

Yarmolenko would provide a solid attacking threat for Arsene Wenger’s men, having scored 13 goals and bagging himself eight assists already this campaign.
It’s unlikely the Gunners would sign Yarmolenko in the January window, although if Everton firm up their interest – Wenger could be tempted in getting there first.
Yarmolenko would rival the likes of Joel Campbell, Alexis Sanchez, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Theo Walcott for a place on the wings – allowing Arsenal with plenty of options.
