Arsenal are reportedly interested in bringing in two members involved with Leicester City’s recruitment, as part of an overhaul of the clubs scouting system.
According to the Daily Mail, Ben Wrigglesworth and Steve Walsh are both thought to be heading to north London. The two men were behind the scouting of such hidden gems as Riyad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy.
The acquisition of the two follows Arsenal increasing their scouting presence in Germany, as they look to bring their knowledge of the Bundesliga and its lower leagues on par with their impressive knowledge of the Spanish leagues, a country responsible for the signings of players such as Cesc Fabregas, Santi Cazorla and Nacho Monreal.
Arsenal currently sit top of the Premier League with 21 games gone, level on points with Leicester City. The next test for the Gunners is a trip to seventh-placed Stoke City, who are fresh off the back of a 3-1 victory over new boys Norwich City.
