In what was one of the most thrilling games in an already exciting Premier League season, Arsenal returned from Anfield with one point after a 3-3 draw with the Reds. The Gunners, however, will be disappointed they didn’t come out of the game with all three points.
In what was a shaky start by Arsenal, where Liverpool were placing the Gunners under immense pressure, the home side took the lead twice, both from strikes by Roberto Firmino. Despite the two setbacks, Arsenal managed to come back twice and take the lead, which they held until Joe Allen’s last-minute equaliser.
In spite of the result, there were some great performances from Arsene Wenger’s men, three of whom significantly stood out.
