Arsenal were reportedly one of three Premier League teams to have sent scouts to watch Paços de Ferreira take on Vitória FC.
It’s believed that strugglers Aston Villa and West Ham scouts also attended the game.
According to Brad Pinard of London24, all three clubs were looking at Diogo Jota, who plays for Paços de Ferreira
The 19-year-old left winger has become one of the most highly sought after talents in European football, with his form in Portugal’s top division impressive. Jota has scored five goals and bagged six assists in 16 appearances.

The impressive nature of his performances have seen him earn a call-up to the Portuguese under-21 side in November, making his his under-21 debut when he came off the bench during a 3-0 win over Isreal.
A number of other sides were also reportedly watching him, including Portuguese giants and rivals Benfica, as well as Luis Enrique’s treble winning Barcelona.
