Arsenal captain and midfielder Mikel Arteta has heaped praise upon Jeff Reine-Adelaide, describing him as someone with a big future ahead.
The young Frenchman has impressed in the bit part roles he has featured in an Arsenal shirt, however, is yet to make his senior debut.
Reine-Adelaide signed for the Gunners during the summer and was a hit after an impressive performance at the Emirates Cup, where he stood toe to toe with the likes of Kevin de Bruyne – at the time of Wolfsburg.
Arteta spoke highly of the 17-year-old to Arsenal Player, claiming that due to his best attributes, Reine-Adelaide is the type of player who can turn a game on its head.

I think Jeff has got really big potential.
He’s got the size. Physically, he’s a strong lad.
His change of direction is crucial because he can eliminate people from getting close to him so quickly. In addition to that, he understands the game.
I believe he has all the attributes to become a really good player. He’s still at a young age but he is learning a lot and he really listens to people. He’s doing really well and when he trains with us, you can tell that he’s quite comfortable.
Jeff seems to handle situations well too. He played in the Emirates Cup where he was brave and took people on.
I think he really wants it. He is hungry and if you give him time, he could have a really positive career as he has something about him.

Both Arteta and Reine-Adelaide could feature for Arsenal on Saturday afternoon as they take on Sunderland in the FA Cup third round at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners will look to defend the trophy for the third consecutive season.
